Xanadu Roller Arts
A place where nobody dared to go…
Who: All ages but really adults
Time Needed: 2–3 hours
Occasion: Any Given Sunday
Overview
Yearning for the 80’s and all the roller‑skating goodness that came with it? Xanadu brings the retro roller rink vibe back with modern upgrades. The music is current, the aesthetic is nostalgic, and the space is beautifully designed. Lace up and take a spin — this is the roller rink you remember, but better.

The Experience
Xanadu is a well‑designed, high‑energy roller rink that works for all ages during the day — but truly shines at night. Evening sessions are adults‑only and include themed events like live music, skate aerobics, and more. The lighting and atmosphere lean into a club‑style vibe, and the full bar adds to the adult‑friendly experience.
Seating: Limited. Most tables are reserved for parties. You can reserve one, but it may not be worth it for two people.
Food: During our visit, the food offerings were light snack (candy, pretzels, icees). Their current menu appears upgraded and includes reasonable priced items that could be full meals.
Overall: Fun for families, but best suited for adults — especially in the evening.
ADA Information
Xanadu welcomes all bodies and offers:
Single‑level layout
Ramp at entrance for mobility aids
Direct contact for accommodations: info@xanadu.nyc
Important Note: The space is highly stimulating — loud music, active lighting, and limited quiet areas. The hallway near the bathrooms is the closest thing to a low‑stimulation zone, but sound remains audible. If someone in your group needs a true quiet room, this may not be the ideal venue.
